Such a Week!

Vincent Van Gogh, "Olive Trees" 1889, The Minneapolis Institute of Arts

It was a tough week, but we survived it. There is this tendency to enjoy life, to live it as if this is it, and be happy about every moment of it. I am just trying to write these few lines, after a week, and let you know that Shorty Number One and I are coming back to life, and having a nice time floating on the surface of life. It is a beautiful feeling to rise above and disappear, and reappear again, with cerain grace, and wisdom. Nothing fancy, just a bit wiser than before, feeling alive, a bit in the Present, not the Past. And a lot more hopeful than before, because the future belong to those who live in Now.
